With over 20 years of dedicated experience in supporting youth in the foster care system and children facing mental health challenges, Christie bring a deep understanding of the complex needs and resilience of her clients. Christie graduated with her degree in Human Relations in 2013 from the University of Oklahoma.
Her professional journey includes roles as an anger management coach and a Behavioral Health Case Managers where she provided targeted behavioral support to individuals in need.
She has also served as a case manager for women recovering from alcohol and substance abuse where she worked closely with mothers and their children to foster stability and promote recovery. These experiences have equipped Christie with the ability to provide compassionate, effective support to clients facing a range of mental health challenges.
In her practice as a Clinical Professional Counselor Student, she works with both adults and children, employing a psychosocial, person-centered approach. Christie incorporates evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to create a safe, empowering environment tailored to each client’s unique strengths and challenges. Her therapeutic philosophy emphasizes trust-building and collaboration, rooted in her supportive approach that inspires clients to recognize and harness their own potential.
