Real Conversations. Gentle Healing. Empowered Growth with
Nicole Pangelinan, CSW-I
Sometimes the weight of past experiences, family stress, or overwhelming emotions can feel like too much to carry alone—especially for children, teens, and young adults still trying to understand who they are and where they belong. If you or your child are navigating anxiety, trauma, mood challenges, or relationship struggles, therapy can be a safe place to slow down, make sense of those experiences, and begin healing at your own pace.
As a Clinical Level Social Work Intern, I work with children, adolescents, and young adults who are coping with complex trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, behavioral dysregulation, and attachment-related concerns. I’m especially passionate about supporting youth from minority backgrounds or those who have experienced poverty, single-parent dynamics, foster care involvement, or disruptions in early relationships. My goal is to create a warm, validating space where clients feel truly seen, understood, and supported as they build resilience and self-confidence.
About Nicole Pangelinan, CSW-I
Nicole Gogue Pangelinan is a Clinical Level Social Work Intern currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at Syracuse University. She has experience supporting children and adolescents presenting with complex trauma, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, behavioral dysregulation, and attachment-related concerns.
Nicole is trained in trauma-informed care, TF-CBT principles, CBT-based interventions, and DBT-informed skills, and has experience facilitating group therapy, crisis intervention, and behavioral stabilization. She is particularly passionate about helping youth and young adults impacted by trauma, foster care involvement, family instability, and cultural or socioeconomic stressors.
Her therapeutic approach emphasizes safety, emotional stabilization, and strengthening each client’s window of tolerance before deeper trauma processing. Nicole is especially interested in expanding her work with trauma-focused modalities such as IFS and EMDR to further support healing and long-term resilience. Rooted in compassion, cultural awareness, and genuine connection, she is dedicated to helping young people feel validated, build emotional regulation skills, and develop a stronger sense of identity, belonging, and hope.
Trauma-informed care, empowerment approach
Nicole believes therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and empowering—never intimidating or rushed. Healing begins with stability and trust, so she will focus first on helping clients feel grounded and emotionally safe before exploring deeper experiences. She blends trauma-informed care with practical skill-building to help clients better understand their emotions, relationships, and inner strengths.
