Clinical Internship

Clinical Intern Therapist

Pre-licensed clinicians holding a Nevada intern credential, with supervision reimbursement and a structured path toward full licensure.

About Brighter Tomorrow

Brighter Tomorrow Therapy is a Las Vegas-based group practice providing compassionate, personalized mental health care to individuals and families. We help clients navigate difficult seasons, strengthen relationships, and build meaningful lives while supporting the clinicians who care for them.

Our clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness and pain, medical-related stress, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges. We provide in-person and telehealth services, matching clients with clinicians whose training, interests, and experience fit their needs.

We are seeking licensed therapists and pre-licensed clinicians with the appropriate active Nevada license or intern credential. This W-2 employee role is for clinicians who value ethical care, collaboration, accountability, and continued professional growth.

Our practice combines clinical autonomy with clear expectations and practical support. You bring your clinical skills and judgment; we provide systems, administrative support, and opportunities for consultation so you can focus on quality care and grow your specialty.

Who Thrives at Brighter Tomorrow

We are looking for clinicians who:

  • Provide compassionate, culturally responsive, trauma-informed care
  • Value clinical quality, timely documentation, and professional accountability
  • Work independently within their competence and seek consultation when needed
  • Communicate respectfully with clients, colleagues, supervisors, and administrative staff
  • Welcome feedback and contribute to a collaborative team
  • Value healthy boundaries, sustainable practice, and continued learning

We welcome clinicians who are passionate about working with:

  • Adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions
  • People living with chronic illness, chronic pain, or medical-related trauma
  • Clients navigating grief, caregiving stress, or relationship challenges
  • Children, adolescents, couples, and families, when aligned with the clinician’s training and the practice’s service needs

We encourage clinicians to develop a specialty that fits their strengths, interests, and training while meeting the needs of the clients we serve.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Maintain the agreed-upon clinical schedule and caseload, generally 15–25 client sessions per week depending on employment status and the written employment agreement
  • Complete clinical assessments and provide therapy within your scope of practice and competence
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and review progress with clients
  • Use appropriate clinical measures alongside client reports and clinical judgment to guide treatment
  • Complete accurate assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required records within practice deadlines and applicable payer requirements
  • Assess safety concerns, develop safety plans when indicated, and follow practice procedures for urgent needs
  • Provide in-person care at assigned office locations and telehealth when clinically appropriate
  • Coordinate care and referrals with appropriate authorization and support continuity during absences, transfers, and discharge
  • Collaborate with administrative and billing staff to address scheduling, documentation, and care coordination needs
  • Participate in required meetings, consultation, training, and supervision

Pre-licensed clinicians must participate consistently in required supervision, maintain applicable supervision approvals and agreements, and practice within their authorized role. Brighter Tomorrow reimburses eligible pre-licensed clinicians for approved off-site clinical supervision. Reimbursement is subject to eligibility, consistent attendance, required documentation, and the terms and limits of the practice’s written supervision benefit policy.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate degree appropriate to the clinical role from an accredited institution
  • Active Nevada clinical license or applicable intern credential authorizing the services provided
  • Ability to meet applicable credentialing and payer participation requirements for the role
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to use an electronic health record and telehealth technology, including Jane App
  • Commitment to client confidentiality, ethical boundaries, culturally responsive care, and practice policies

Preferred Experience

Experience with trauma, chronic illness or pain, grief, anxiety, depression, or other populations served by the practice is welcome. Training in evidence-based or trauma-focused approaches is valued; clinicians should use modalities only within their training and competence.

What We Offer

  • Compensation based on license, experience, and the agreed-upon pay structure
  • Paid administrative time according to the position’s compensation terms
  • Reimbursement for approved off-site clinical supervision for eligible pre-licensed clinicians, subject to the practice’s written supervision benefit policy
  • Professional office space and clinical materials
  • EHR and telehealth tools, documentation templates, and established workflows
  • Intake, billing, and credentialing support
  • Company email, professional profiles, and marketing support
  • Scheduling flexibility within agreed-upon availability and client care needs
  • A hybrid work model combining assigned in-office care with appropriate telehealth services
  • Case consultation, structured onboarding, and professional development support

Specific compensation, schedule, supervision arrangements, and benefit eligibility will be reviewed during the hiring process and documented in the applicable employment agreement and practice policies.

Our Culture

We take our work seriously and make room for warmth, connection, and joy. Our culture centers on integrity, respect, collaboration, accountability, and care for both clients and clinicians.

We believe clinicians do their best work when they have clear expectations, dependable systems, opportunities to learn, and space to care for themselves. We encourage questions, thoughtful feedback, and early communication when challenges arise.

We welcome clinicians who want to contribute to a supportive team, deepen their clinical skills, and build a sustainable professional life.

If this sounds like the environment where you would thrive, we would love to connect.
